New Leaf New Life is hosting the second annual Domestic Violence Awareness Walk in Minneapolis. Please walk to help raise awareness and end domestic violence in Minnesota!
Check-in: 9:00 A.M. Lake Calhoun at North Beach
Walk: Lake Calhoun (North Beach) at 10:00 A.M., 5K
Cost: $20.00 - t-shirts will be handed out to commemorate the walk
Bring the whole family to enjoy a day of awareness and fun! Dogs welcome to join the Walk!
Stay and enjoy the live DJ and fire truck for kids to explore!

Mission Statement

The mission of New Leaf New Life is to end domestic violence and raise awareness. We will do this by improving knowledge of domestic violence so that people understand that it affects one and ever four women. This is a subject that needs to be addressed and understood so that Domestic Violence will no longer be a shunned topic. We will accomplish our goals through the following means:

Improve the communication between existing domestic violence organizations.

Work to improve current laws as well as training police officers and first responders to recognize the signs of a violent situation.

Help women to utilize resources.
